The origin of the Plavko is a story that comes from the beginnings of Strobelyx. In 2013 there was a series of coloristic singles with names like Yellowyx, Purpleyx and there was the track Bluelyx. Bluelyx was later on dismantled, sampled and reconstructed to be played in a live show, and from there a new version of the track was born. The name Plavko comes from the translated word for "blue" in Croatian language - "plavo". So the title carries the origins of the original track, but in a way it has it's own new identity.

The two following tracks are new renditions of the track Plavko, following in the footsteps of Kozmodrum, the 5-piece band of Janko Novoselic. The titles of these two tracks are a play on words "Kozmodrum" and "Strobelyx", which signifies the fusion and merging of two different projects that maybe carry more resemblance than difference.

Plavko is released as a free download on April 12th which is the International Day Of Human Space Flight, or shortened - Cosmonautics Day. Exactly 55 years ago on this day Yuri Gagarin was the first human to ever fly in space, circling the orbit of Earth for 1 hour and 48 minutes aboard the Vostok 1 spacecraft. As here in Zona Muzika we consider ourselves to be citizens and travellers of space, we would like to dedicate Plavko to the Russian cosmonaut... And somewhere in the back of our heads we like to imagine that one day someone will perhaps listen to Plavko while flying in deep space.
